January 2011: GeoGenesis 2.1 released
IAVO announces the release of GeoGenesis 2.1 as part of the larger common code release. Version 2.1 provides enhanced annotation capabilities and completes a requirement to incorporate US DoD output/format standards.
April 2011: GeoGenesis 2.2 passes factory acceptance testing
Prior to public release, GeoGenesis 2.2 successfully passed detailed factory acceptance tests, facilitating its release to the public on 30 June 2011. All aspects of the software were reviewed and tested by reviewers. Ultimately, more than 45 rigorous FAT episodes were run, and GeoGenesis passed them all.
August 2011: GeoGenesis 2.2 released
IAVO announces the release of GeoGenesis 2.2 as part of the larger common code foundation release. Version 2.2 provides expansion of the editing tools as well as improved tie point processing.
January 2012: GeoGenesis 3.0 development
IAVO announces the development cycle and plan for GeoGenesis version 3.0, planned for release in early 2013. The software will be totally redesigned with a brand new interface and entirely new process flow. IAVO will make more announcements regarding the status of 3.0 throughout the year.
November 2012: GeoGenesis 3.0 enters pre-beta factory acceptance testing
Prior to public release, GeoGenesis 3.0 entered pre-beta testing. The testing period is planned to last nearly six weeks, with the needed software development follow-ups planned thereafter.
January 2013: GeoGenesis 3.0 enters final factory acceptance testing
GeoGenesis 3.0 entered final factory acceptance testing in early 2013.
February 2013: GeoGenesis 3.0 passes factory acceptance testing
At the completion all possible aspects of the software were reviewed and tested by reviewers. Ultimately, more than 70 rigorous FAT episodes were run, and GeoGenesis passed them all.
May 2013: GeoGenesis 3.0 is now available

May 2014: IAVO completes consolidation of IApioneer 3.0
IApioneer 3.0 now contains all IAVO software modules under one consolidated application. This removes the need to license each module separately. With this release, the entire systems functions upon a single install. With consolidation, IApioneer now includes: GeoGenesis, OmniDEM, and FeatureXTract.
